Rudi Hendrikx

Rudi Hendrikx is a multifaceted individual who wears many hats within the equestrian community. He is the dedicated father of Suraya and ofcourse the manager of the stable. 

Rudi is a veterinarian. Rudi’s journey in the world of veterinary medicine began at the University of Gent, where he graduated in 1994 as a horse vet. Over time, his expertise expanded to include small animals, and he established one of Belgium’s most prominent veterinary clinics in Lanaken. The clinic stands as a testament to his dedication and the high regard in which he is held within the field.

Also Rudi is a rider but for a hobby. However, Rudi’s passion for horses doesn’t end at the clinic door. A rider by avocation, he embarked on his equestrian journey at the age of 14. He acquired his own horse and honed his riding skills under the guidance of Jeannette Haazen. His dedication and natural talent led him to become a Dutch champion in various equestrian classes, showcasing his prowess in the saddle.

Though his focus later shifted to his veterinary studies and practice, Rudi’s love for riding has remained a constant. He continues to ride some of the young horses at the stable, providing them with the guidance and training they need to excel. Additionally, he takes a hands-on approach in caring for all the foals on the field, ensuring their well-being and nurturing the future generation of equine athletes.
